We're manufacturers of pure Jain/ Saatvik masalas based in Mumbai. Our masalas are ground freshly every week to maintain fresh batches. We specialise in sun-drying and grinding our masalas without onion, garlic, food colours, preservatives or artificial flavours.
About The Founder
Hailing from an entrepreneurial Gujarati family from South Mumbai, Mr. Akash Jhaveri grew up eating all kinds of vegetarian food. With an avid interest in martial arts and fitness, he pursued studying Food and Nutrition from Sophia College for the love of food. Upon learning about the ill effects of packaged food and spices came along the idea to produce healthy yet tasty food recipes, thus giving birth to KANHAJI MASALE.
Our Journey
KANHAJI MASALE was launched as a supermarket in the year 2020, the primary focus being on pulses, flours and spices. The business gained recognition for the pure quality and freshness of spices - whole as well as ground. Upon receiving positive feedback from customers on the three generations old recipes of powdered Chai Masala and Milk Masala, we switched completely to manufacturing spices. Now we ship our masalas across India directly to customers.
Our vision
Kanhaji Masale came into being with the vision of offering freshly made, pure, unadulterated spices to direct customers. As a brand, our primary goal is to enable customers to cook using our masalas and consume their favourite dishes free of guilt, especially empowering those with dietary restrictions based on religious principles and those aiming to achieve good health and a long life.
